A Journey Finding Me

  • XGM would like to present to you  a curriculum distilled from the core teachings of Gautama Buddha. These essences were compiled by His noble disciples into the Nikāya (Pali Canon) and have been preserved intact to this day.
  • XGM shares the 10-point operational trajectory of the Dhamma: from its arising within consciousness to its final dissolution into Nirvana

As taught by the Blessed One and His noble disciples:

  • Seeing the Dhamma is seeing the Buddha: “One who sees the Dhamma sees Me; one who sees Me sees the Dhamma.”— SN 22.87 Vakkali Sutta.
  • Seeing Dependent Origination is seeing the Dhamma:One who sees Dependent Origination sees the Dhamma; one who sees the Dhamma sees Dependent Origination.”— MN 28 Mahāhatthipadopama Sutta (The longer simile of the elephant’s footprint).
  • The Profundity of Dependent Origination: “Ananda, this Dependent Origination is profound and appears profound… It is because of not awakening to and not penetrating this Dhamma that these beings are as tangled as a ball of string… they do not escape from the round of rebirth in the woeful planes.”— DN 15 Mahānidāna Sutta (The great discourse on causation).

Grasping the content of XGM helps practitioners unlock their wisdom, penetrate the scriptures, and practice diligently toward awakening and liberation.
